Tess's Blog

Wednesday 3rd January

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi. My name's Tess, which is short for The High Priestess. This is my blog where I share my wisdom and musings with the world.

Watched the awful news in the Middle East today and thought war is so wrong. Why is it only me who's noticed - maybe there's somebody I could email in Israel or Gaza?

My top 3 films about citrus fruit - Oranges Are not the only fruit, My Darling Clementine, A Clockwork Orange.

Organised religion is so cynical and responsible for nearly all the worlds' problems. Apart from the extinction of the panda's natural habitat - which is all about the West's need for low-cost garden furniture (it's made from bamboo you see). All religions are about books telling you what think - I don't need a book telling me how to think. That's what I learned in this new book I'm reading, "What to think and why" by Tony Roberts. He's incredible ( with very white teeth - wonder if he's married?) He's like Jesus if Jesus did motivational books. Tony's got some incredible ideas - he calls them commandments. He says, "Do good things and good things will happen." Doesn't life suddenly make sense? I have invited a homeless man to stay the night. He was so grateful.

My top 3 American Pie films in reverse order - American Pie 3, American Pie, American Pie 2.

Saturday 6th January

Sorry for the delay know you check my blog daily. Spider - the homeless guy I invited into my house - says he's following Tony's commandments too and he wants to stay until he's empowered. Spider certainly has a lot of friends. People are always ringing the doorbell, shaking his hand and walking off again. Often late at night. Should I ask him to repay that loan, what do you think guys?

My top five dairy products - milk, cheese, butter and double cream that counts as two.

Also wouldn't things be much improved in the Middle East if people just talked more. I know whenever there's any tension in my life a chat always helps. Reminds me - must talk to speak to Spider. I really can't find my new debit card. LOL Tess.

Monday 8th January 2007

Wow ! The mind is such an incredible tool. I think Spider might be in love. Every morning four women come round and are really friendly. Then they go off into my room for private chats with other male friends they've made, Spider has to knock on the door to remind them what time it is! Tony's so right. People do love to be loved.

Do you think Britney is getting a hard time or is just yet another example of society's problems with strong women?

Quote of the day "Earn more, eat less" - how true. If not a little materialistic.

Wednesday 10th January

Hi - So much to tell you about. Spider's really taken alternate beliefs to heart. He must be into feng shui now because when I got home the sofa had gone. I couldn't see Spider either, but then I was peering through the letterbox as for some reason my key didn't work. I'm sure Spider will call me soon. Have to log off now as I've got limited access at the hostel.

My top three things about the hostel: Heroin
